Amazing Grace Concern is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS. We believe that everyone deserves access to healthcare, support, and opportunities for a better future. Through advocacy, education, and direct support services, we are committed to ending stigma, preventing new infections, and ensuring that no one faces HIV/AIDS alone.
HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that attacks the body’s immune system, specifically the CD4 cells (T cells), which help fight infections. If left untreated, HIV can weaken the immune system, making it difficult for the body to fight off diseases and infections.
AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is the most advanced stage of HIV infection. It occurs when the immune system is severely damaged, and the body becomes vulnerable to life-threatening infections and illnesses. Not everyone with HIV develops AIDS, especially with early detection and proper medical treatment.
