Vintage Sony WM-F42 Walkman with Sony MDR-005E headphones from the 1980s. Listed AS-IS.
It has been tested and is in working condition. No batteries included.
The Walkman and headphones show some wear from use.
The belts have been replaced. They are slightly twisted but are on the rollers. Please see the last 3 pictures.
It has been tested and plays cassettes. The motor speed has been adjusted. In my opinion it sounds fine but may need slight adjustment.
The original belts wore out and were sticky. I removed as much of the old belt material as I could, but it looks to have stained the roller. It may need further cleaning.
While the belts do what they are supposed to do, they are not official Sony Walkman belts. They may need upgraded for optimal sound quality.
There was some corrosion on the battery terminals. It has been mostly removed but may need further detailing.
